
Tony Sierra
A native New Yorker of Puerto Rican descent. Tony spent most of his youth in Spanish Harlem. Began singing at the age of ten and songwriting at thirteen. Participated in various NYC music youth programs. From late teens to mid twenties, was lead singer for several groups that ranged from soft rock to high energy dance bands. Was a regular guest on \"Straight Off the Lips Chicago\" , a local cable access show, performed at The Chicago Cotton Club regularly and headlined at The Excalibur. Won \"Best male Contemporary\" in 1994 at Chicago\'s Tropicana DeCache, hosted by The Hispanic Hall of Fame.
A certified Master Woodworker. Saved since 1997. Prayed into the kingdom by Marilyn McCoo of the Fifth Dimension. Tony is married to Karen Long Sierra, retired musical theatre actress, who contributes greatly with background vocals and consulting on projects. Karen occasionally teaches advanced musical theatre to the talented and gifted youth of \'Dayspring School of the Arts\' in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
Tony and Karen have a multitalented eight year old daughter named Aria Yolee.
Tony also has a daughter from a previous marriage, Leilani Marie, who is seventeen and on her way to becoming an oceanographer.
His long term educational goal is to get his doctorate in internal medicine and keep ministering through his music.
