Croix
Croix is Rick Balsiger, Tony Silva, and Michael Chacon. We have all been playing with different people for over 30 years. We came together several of those years ago, primarily because of the social requirements of Girl Scouts. The Lord works His ways. Come to think of it our main social fulcrum seems to be positioned through our children. Since we are all very grown up (chronologically) we have developed professional lives that are not in the music business. Come on, we have to eat....and we live in the OC!
Rick is a business and career consultant with an advertising/marketing executive background in the automotive industry. He helps business executives redefine their goals and objectives when they find themselves, as we all do, in a \"transitory\" period. He also publishes articles and is finishing a book on aligning career aspirations with a person\'s given skill and experiential inventory.
Tony is an executive security professional responsible for the CEO of a global entertainment corporation. (You would definitely recognize the brand) We don\'t get to see him too much because he spends 80% of his time flying all over the globe on private corporate jets. Sounds cool, but those of you who travel know that the glitter fades quickly.
Michael is business executive in the information technology industry. He doesn\'t travel all over the world anymore, because he knows all too well what Tony is going through. In the technology world he published several books and wrote numerous articles on the intersection of people, process and technology. He is currently writing another book, but one that is a dearer to his heart. It is called \"Jesus Quotes the Bible\" which illuminates the contiguous threads running through the Tanakh and the Brit Chadashah. There is a lot of other stuff as well, but then Michael tends to be, well, Michael. We will leave it at that.
And what does all this have to do with music? Well, nothing, but the tab says bio and we are what we are; middle-aged business executives who love the Lord and express that love though our God given musical creativity and abundant toys.
We record the evenings jams and later prospect for veins of inspiration. Sometimes we discover a pocket that clicks, an appropriate form and structure is applied, and a song is uncovered. We like this creative combination of spontaneity and arranged composition.

Our 3Car garage door is always open and we love to play. The only price of admission...well, lately we prefer Syrah, but a fine Cabernet is never out of favor. Heck any good red is never out of favor....
Our music hovers right near the center of lives. That space, of course, is filled by Yeshua Hamashia (read the book!), and we spin off the music in His Honor and Glory.
