Wow, where to begin? First let me say that God is Awesome, and He has allowed me to raise my voice for Him. He has given me an incredible family that also allows me to pursue the music He put in my heart.
God gave me some opportunities in high school and college that both planted and solidified the role music would play in my life. I was fortunate enough to study under the same music director for seven years (salute to Steve Attaway) and during that time was introduced to vocal work from solos to choirs, studio work, long road tours and everything that goes with them.
After college, getting married and getting a job I started singing tenor with the Winning Spirit quartet. From \'92 to \'99 we did the weekend warrior thing all across Ontario, Canada. Props to Ed, Scott and Calvin but all good things must come to an end and the group dissolved in late \'99 when the bass singer got married and moved away and my family and I moved back to Missouri.
Then another break from the music as we joined the family business and brought it through a difficult transition period. But God would not let the fire die and while going through a huge trial of faith with my family in the summer of 2003, He rekindled the music in my soul.
So here we are, at the beginning of 2005 and it has taken almost a year of hit and miss studio time to bring this project to reality. Nine of the 12 tracks are original music that fall all over the map musically, from jazz to big band, classic southern gospel to inspirational and even a P&W remix of the The Lord\'s Prayer. My only hope is that the music touches your heart and soul in the same way it is an expression of mine.
